Our Stay At Chele Chele
Chele Chele Villa is one of those rare places that becomes part of your story.
This journey brought together four generations of our family—a gift in itself. Different ages, different rhythms, different stories… yet somehow, in this peaceful space near Arusha, everything slowed down and aligned.
Each morning felt like a quiet blessing. In the distance, Mount Kilimanjaro revealed itself gently through the clouds, while Mount Meru stood steady and close, almost like a guardian of the land. There’s something deeply grounding about sitting together, coffee in hand, watching those mountains while the world feels still.
And then came our unexpected companions—the Colobus monkeys. They visited often, moving gracefully through the trees, playing, interacting, almost performing for us. Watching their social dynamics became a shared ritual… laughter, curiosity, and wonder flowing across generations. In those moments, we weren’t just observing nature—we were part of it.
But what truly made this experience unforgettable was Aziz.
There are hosts… and then there are people who open their hearts. Aziz welcomed us not as guests, but as family. Over the days, he became woven into our experience—present, thoughtful, intuitive. He had a way of making each person feel seen and valued, whether it was a quiet conversation, a thoughtful gesture, or simply being there at the right moment.
For our elders, he brought comfort and respect.
For the younger ones, warmth and joy.
For all of us, a sense that we belonged.
His team carried that same spirit—graceful, professional, and genuinely caring. Everything felt effortless, allowing us to focus on what mattered most: being together.
The villa itself is beautiful, yes—but what makes it extraordinary is what it holds. Laughter echoing across generations. Stories shared under open skies. The simple, profound joy of connection.
We came for a stay.
We left with memories that feel like part of who we are.
And somewhere between Kilimanjaro’s quiet presence, Meru’s strength, the playful monkeys, and Aziz’s kindness… we found something truly special.
We will carry Chele Chele Villa with us for a very long time.
Our family trip to Chele Chele Villa was an absolutely incredible experience. The property itself is stunning, with beautiful grounds that serve as a playground for gorgeous Colobus monkeys and vibrant birdlife.
The heart of this villa, however, is the people. Aziz is a world-class host. He is so welcoming and friendly that he quickly became like a member of our family. In fact, when he had to leave on a personal trip two days before our departure, we genuinely missed his presence!
Highlights of our stay:
Exceptional Hospitality: The entire staff was professional, warm, and made us feel completely looked after.
Exquisite Dining: The food was incredibly delicious—every meal was a highlight of our day.
Natural Beauty: Waking up to the sights and sounds of the monkeys and birds on the property was magical.
Thank you, Aziz, for your hospitality and for making our stay so memorable. We left with heavy hearts but wonderful memories. We can’t recommend this place highly enough!
Chele Chele is such a wonderful place. I enjoyed the peace, the team , the property design and how sparkling clean it was at all times. The food was exceptional and Aziz was the most wonderful host I have ever encountered! Totally going back soon!
Beautiful Villa with a great team. The view of Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru is incredible. Thank you very much for letting us enjoy this.

We had an amazing time. Host been very welcoming and fulfilled any wish before we even asked. Team very friendly and supportive, food outstanding, very quality oriented.
We enjoyed the quiet, the recharge and for sure the pool dips, the walk and the Kilimanjaro pink evening hours. A spot to be recommended!!!
Hello, thank you very much for this wonderful stay in your villa. The boss was always super nice and friendly, as was his entire team. The food was simply fantastic and of unrivalled quality. You didn't want for anything as the team always tried to fulfill all your wishes. The villa is in a secluded, very idyllic location.
A timeless, totally exclusive and magical place that immerses you in both lush nature and in the history of a residence built at the beginning of the 20th century by a renowned German architect. An interior decorated with great care and style adds to the luxurious feel of this rare place. A warm, smiling, professional team totally dedicated to our well-being. Last but not least, the catering reflects the residence's quest for excellence. In short, we had a wonderful stay, somewhere between dream and reality.

Earlier this year I went with my family for the second time to Chele Chele. Again it was a fabulous experience! The location is unique with a view at Kilimanjaro when waking up. The trees in the garden are beautiful and the sounds at night of the Colobus monkeys is thrilling! Most importantly however is the staff. They are so nice, they make such great and delicious food and Aziz and his team strike the perfect balance between taking care of you and respecting your privacy. Truly amazing and unique experience, thank you all so much!
Me and my family had the best weekend at Chele Chele Villa! The whole team was extremely welcoming and the place is just breathtaking. Would recommend everybody to have a stay at this place.

Villa Chele Chele is absolute luxury in the modern world. It is an opportunity to experience a slow everyday life imbued with sincerity, love and care.
Villa's employees are like family members who take care of your every, even the smallest wish. This is the second time we have visited this villa and we will return again and again.
We did a yoga and meditation retreat here. The villa staff even went out of their way to set up a special shalla for us to practice yoga. Just incredible. The staff of the villa helped to prepare for each activity, dipped wildflowers, and brought candles in the evenings. When we came back from the safari, they even arranged a surprise for us, a candlelight and starlit dinner.
This place embodies all the greatest values that are often lost in the modern world. That's why it's just good to be here... enjoying all the fluffy monkeys running around the branches, fresh coffee and cookies freshly baked by the hostess. Our group had breakfast, lunch, and dinner for two or three hours, as it became another unexpected meditation practice.
Each participant took away an extraordinary feeling of peace and love that no amount of money can buy.
Our heartfelt thanks to the villa owner Aziz and the entire team at Chele Chele for an invaluable experience.
